Spiral Bound is an evolving concert work rooted in memory, longing, and collaboration.
Created by composer and performer Miranda Ferriss Jones, the piece transforms poems written between 1968–1972 by sculptor Richard Edelman into songs that move across eras, styles, and emotional landscapes—each centered on a woman who shaped those years and refuses to be forgotten.
This one-night “works in progress” performance at Lincoln Center’s Atrium marked an important next chapter in the project’s evolution and featured Jones alongside Tony Award winner Laura Benanti, Khaila Wilcoxon (Six, Hadestown) and guest artists from Sands PACE.
In collaboration with Anne Lac, we co–creative directed the visual language for the show, designing and editing all projection visuals to create a restrained, emotionally responsive environment that supported the performances without overpowering them.
